Young thomasians of class IX-A organized  today’s assembly (19.11.2018) on the theme “MOTIVATION”. They introduced the theme in an innovative manner by rendering a melodious and meaningful song.  Master. Kali Vignesh and Master.Joysten of IX-A exhibited their oratorical skills and inspired the assembly to get motivated. Following which,  awards and prizes were handed over to the academic toppers and to the winners of various sports events by the Principal. Having sung the National Anthem,  the assembly dispersed to the classrooms.


On 14th November, 2018, the Thomasian family took joy in celebrating the Children’s Day with gaiety and fervour in the school premises. The teachers,  presented and performed various events for their children. The program commenced with a soulful  prayer song, sung by KG teachers.   Ms.Josephine Vanitha (Teaching Staff,  Grade V)  welcomed the gathering. Mr. J.GAUTHAMAN (Prop. of Gauthaman Eng. Works – Business in maintenance contracts of manning and operation at VOC port ) an illustrious alumnus of our school was the Chief Guest. In his adress, he fondly remembered his student life in the campus and inspired the students to make optimal use of their energy and resources. Teachers of Grade I, II and III staged an action song, that attracted the tiny tots and took them to the realm of ecstasy. Our little bud RAMYA VARSHINI of class V- C donned the role of  Chacha Nehru. She admonished her fellow students  to follow the footsteps of Pandit Nehru. Another attraction of the day was the scintillating dance performance presented by Mr. PETHRU (Teaching Staff,  Commerce Faculty),  which received a thunderous applause . Teachers of Grade IX,  X conducted a game show, in which the teachers were participants. It was a pure joy for the children to see their beloved  teachers on the stage, contending with one another to win the show.  Mr.Gauthaman, the Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the little academic toppers. The program had a fitting culmination with the dance by Grade IV,  V teachers. They enthralled the entire audience with their graceful performance. Ms.Ursline (Teaching Staff Grade IV)  delivered the vote of thanks.  With the singing of National Anthem the program came to an end.  It was indeed a day to remember and relish.

Recent Events


26th January 1950 is a red letter day in the history of our nation,  the day on which we received joyously, the gift of the Indian constitution.

Its 70th anniversary  was celebrated in the school premises on 26th January 2019 with great e’clat and patriotic fervour. Mr.Favas, an erudite alumnus  was the chief guest. He hoisted and unfurled theTriclolor. The school saluted the it and pledged solemnly to uphold the honour and integrity of the nation. The students of class 8th organised the day’s events. Ashwanth (XII-A) and James (IX-E) spoke  in English and Tamil respectively, instilling in us the spirit of patriotism. They were followed by a splendid folk dance. The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding.

The esteemed guest motivated the students through his inspiring words,  emphasisising all along,  the importance  of they being  loyal citizens of our beloved nation and beckoned them to emerge as effective leaders of tomorrow.
The school auditorium reverberated with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm when the school choir started singing patriotic numbers.  Thereafter, students who had won various literary and cultural events, conducted in the Campus were honored and awarded prizes. Finally,  Stalin offered the Vote of Thanks and with the singing of  the National Anthem the celebration reached its culmination.


TinyTots of class IV-E presented the assembly on 23rd of January highlighting the pros and cons of the usage of mobile phones in day today life. The assembly commenced with the morning prayer followed by a brief introduction about the topic “Mobile phone Boon or Bane”. Through the speeches and thoughts of the day, the students insisted on the proper usage of mobile phone. They warned us not to get addicted to it.  Finally, the Assembly got concluded with the National Anthem.
