On 15 August 2018, Our School, celebrated Independence day with zeal and spirit befitting the occasion. Dr.Gifty Immanuel, our former student graced the occasion. He spoke about the significance of the historic day, and urged the students to become model citizens. Various cultural programmes were conducted with the aim of developing the leadership qualities of children. Student of class XII recited patriotic poem in Hindi. Finally the function concluded with the rendition of the national anthem.


Mr.K.Kamaraj, our former CM’s 116th birthday was celebrated as “EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY” in our school on 16/07/2018. The meeting began with the prayer song.Mr.Oscar, the Principal welcomed the gathering. Two of our students spoke on the life of Mr.K.Kamaraj. Fr.Julians, our Correspondent delivered the keynote address. Mr.Chithanantha, our Senior P.G. Asst(physics) was the chief guest. He hoisted the National flag and delivered the chief guest’s address. Students entertained the audience with various cultural events. With the National Anthem the programme ended.

Recent Events


26th January 1950 is a red letter day in the history of our nation,  the day on which we received joyously, the gift of the Indian constitution.

Its 70th anniversary  was celebrated in the school premises on 26th January 2019 with great e’clat and patriotic fervour. Mr.Favas, an erudite alumnus  was the chief guest. He hoisted and unfurled theTriclolor. The school saluted the it and pledged solemnly to uphold the honour and integrity of the nation. The students of class 8th organised the day’s events. Ashwanth (XII-A) and James (IX-E) spoke  in English and Tamil respectively, instilling in us the spirit of patriotism. They were followed by a splendid folk dance. The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding.

The esteemed guest motivated the students through his inspiring words,  emphasisising all along,  the importance  of they being  loyal citizens of our beloved nation and beckoned them to emerge as effective leaders of tomorrow.
The school auditorium reverberated with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm when the school choir started singing patriotic numbers.  Thereafter, students who had won various literary and cultural events, conducted in the Campus were honored and awarded prizes. Finally,  Stalin offered the Vote of Thanks and with the singing of  the National Anthem the celebration reached its culmination.


TinyTots of class IV-E presented the assembly on 23rd of January highlighting the pros and cons of the usage of mobile phones in day today life. The assembly commenced with the morning prayer followed by a brief introduction about the topic “Mobile phone Boon or Bane”. Through the speeches and thoughts of the day, the students insisted on the proper usage of mobile phone. They warned us not to get addicted to it.  Finally, the Assembly got concluded with the National Anthem.
